Looking for some (free) answers on who's going to win this weekend (Week 12) in the NFL?  Look no further!  I'm seeing green with Pittsburg, San Francisco, NY Jets, New England, Chicago and Tampa Bay!

As always, you can post your comments below. Don't forget that YOU, TOO!! can post your very own weekly picks, and other sports blogs, here on RotoJoe.com for free!  Just sign up and post!

Week 12 NFL Picks:

Cincinatti Bengals (+10.5) at Pittsburg steelers
I thought the Steelers would cover 8 points at home versus the Chargers, but ended up losing (although it should have been a push - thanks refs!) on an 11-10 Steelers victory.  Regardless, I'm going to grab the Steelers and give away the points again this week.  I'm not necessarily that confident on the Steelers' ability to truly dominate this game, but I am that confident on the Bengals' ability to screw this game up.
Give the points, take the Steelers (by 12)

San Francisco 49ers (+10.5) at Dallas Cowboys
Romo and the Cowboys looked pretty good this past week, pulling out a must-win.  But, I'm not convinced that the Cowboys are going to live up to their lofty expectations.  I like Hill, Gore and the 49ers, and think they're the perfect trap game for the Cowboys.  I'll give it a pick'em on who actually wins, but 49ers cover.
Take the points and run with the 49ers.

New York Jets (+5.5) at Tennessee Titans
Isn't this an interesting little game. You have the Jets and Farve cruising along their easy little schedule towards a playoff birth (after all, they're tops in their division right now).  But, on the other side of the field is the undefeated Titans.  Could this be the week that the Titans fall, or will perfection continue?  I'm going to hop on the bandwagon here: J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!
Take the points, but the JETS win outright!

New England Patriots (+2) at Miami Dolphins
Oh, how things change in a year.  Did anyone think that the mighty Pats would be a 2 point dog to the Dolphins this time last year?  I didn't, and still don't think it's a good play.
Take the Pats and the points to beat the Dolphins.

Chicago Bears (-8.5) at St. Louis Rams
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8.5) at Detroit Lions

Not to make things fair, but up to this point we've given the points once, and taken them three times.  I guess we're going to even up the odds here as we're giving up the points on these two 8.5 pt spread games and going with the Bears and Buccs.  It's not that I'm that impressed with a Bears squad that was beat down by the Packers by 30 this past week, or that I like Tampa's offense enough to think they'll both win by 9-10 points...it's that I'm that down on the Rams and Lions to think they'll screw these games up.  The Rams won't have SJax this week, and their offense is lost, and their defense is practically non-existent.  The Lions are their own enigma, and just can't be trusted...unless you're trusting them to lose, lose often, and lose big.  Oh wait, that's what I'm hoping for!
Give the points and take the Bears and Buccaneers.

NOTE:
In last week's picks, Roto Jones was 2-3, bringing the current year-to-date record to 5-4.

5-1...A field goal away from perfection

Submitted by Roto Jones on Tue, 11/25/2008 - 11:01pm.

This week went well. It started off great with a Steelers win, and then we wen't rolling. The Jets pounded the Titans by 19 (win); Pats blew up the Dolphins by 20 (win); Bears destroyed the Rams by 24 (win); and the Bucs came charging back on the Lions to win by 18 (win). The only stumble this week was the 49ers. I thought they'd cover, but a Nick Folk FG with 5.09 remaining put it just out of reach from the 10.5 pts the 49ers were getting, as the Cowboys won by 13. Not too bad, if I do say so myself.
