It's time for the 2009 Fantasy Baseball Preview!  In this installment we're looking at NL Catchers. 

Having the right catcher can make or break your fantasy season.  Sure, catchers don't typically generate the same stats as other position players, but if you have one or even two catchers in your lineup that are basically "empty roster spots" you're already creating a hole to dig out of.

MLB free agent Manny Ramirez had another "Manny being Manny" moment this week as he mentioned that he might "contemplate retirement."  Manny' is reacting to a lackluster response by MLB teams to court him in free agency right now, leaving him to feel left out or ignored.

Manny was traded to the LA Dodgers from Boston this past year, and received an offer from LA, but that offer has since been recinded as the open FA market opened up.

Last week was brutal.  The Ls are catching up with the Ws, after a sub-par 1-3 week, bringing our season record to 13-9.  We're still in the black, but it's time to get back to the Ws beating the Ls!.

Week 13 NFL Picks - THANKSGIVING EDITION:

The season's winding down, and the 2008-2009 NCAA Football Bowl Matchups are starting to take form!  Conference championships are on the horizon as we begin our weekly look into how the Bowls are going to shape up this year.

 And now it's time for the updated NCAA Football Rankings for Week 13 (2008). 

This week's game of the century came and went, leaving Texas Tech in the dust.  They got an 'olde fashioned butt-kicking from Oklahoma, and fell down to 7th in the BCS.  But, the maddness continues in the Big 12 South, as Oklahoma, who lost to Texas, ranks higher than the Longhorns in the AP and USA Today polls, but trails slightly in the BCS.  This week's game will be a big one for the Sooners, as they hope to sneak by Texas in the BCS.
